At the Dominican Sommelier Association, competitions are much more than a competition: they are a celebration of the knowledge, dedication, and passion that define our profession.
Through rigorous theoretical, practical, and sensory testing, we seek to highlight the most highly qualified professionals, promoting high standards of quality in wine service and strengthening the growth of sommeliers in the country.

Best Sommeliers in the Dominican Republic
HECTOR GARCIA
He is the winner of the 1st edition of the Best Sommelier Competition of the Dominican Republic 2009, organized by El Catador with the endorsement of the Dominican Association of Sommeliers (ADS).
SIMONE PINTON
He is the winner of the 2nd edition of the Best Sommelier Competition Dominican Republic 2010 organized by El Catador with the endorsement of the Dominican Association of Sommeliers (ADS).
RIQUERMIS SANTANA
